Special Winter Walk

  • Lemoine Point Conservation Area 1440 Coverdale Drive Kingston, ON, K7M Canada (map)

Join us again this year to explore winter on this special edition of walking with blue marble.

Why is it special? Enjoy a guided walk but also:

  1. Refreshments

  2. Activities; and

  3. a special add-on to enrich your walk experience

Last year our winter scavenger hunt during the walk was lots of fun, so this year we are doing something similar. On the 1 hour walking component of the event we will send you on different tasks from investigating snow depth to exploring lake ice (safely). Enjoy the wonders of nature while learning about energy transfer, snow accumulation, different types of snow, and trees!

Perfect for everyone, ages 0-99! Bring the whole family!

Adult - $10, Youth (5-14) $7, Child (4 and under) FREE.

Add-ON

Enhance your walk experience and take some nature learning home with a laminated field Winter Tree ID sheet.

Location: Lemoine Point Conservation Area - North Entrance
