Liability and Photo Waivers

Liability Waiver

To participate in any blue marble learning scene activity each guest / learner must sign a liability waiver, with the exception of when blue marble visits a school.

By signing blue marble learning scene’s liability waiver, each guest / learner is agreeing to release blue marble learning scene from all liability relating to injuries or illness that may occur during or as a result of a blue marble learning scene experience. By signing, each guest / learner agrees to hold blue marble learning scene entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for any injuries occurred. Each guest / learner acknowledges the risks involved in participation, including but not limited to bruises, cuts, breaks, concussions, and/or death. Each guest / learner agrees that they are participating voluntarily. By signing the liability waiver, each guest / learner understand that they forfeit the right to bring a suit against blue marble learning scene for any reason and that they will make every effort to obey safety precautions as explained verbally prior to the experience and will ask for clarification where needed.

By signing the liability waiver on behalf of a minor, you indicate that you are you the legal guardian of that child and have the right to sign on their behalf.

Photo Permissions

When you attend a blue marble learning scene activity you may be asked to provide photo permissions for blue marble learning scene to use photos of you / your child(ren) in their promotions.

By indicating yes on the photo release form you are giving permission for blue marble learning scene to use photos or likeness of the named individuals for promotional and other business purposes including, but not limited to: use on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), use in blue marble learning scene’s website and in email communications / newsletters, YouTube promotional or educational videos, in experience packages for resale etc..

In the case that the named individual(s) attend multiple blue marble learning scene activities, by signing the photo release form, you agree that this photo permission will remain valid for new photos taken within 1 year from the date of signing.

If you decline to allow blue marble learning scene to take photos / video of you / your child(ren), blue marble learning scene will ensure no identifiable photos are used. blue marble learning scene may still take photos of any individual as long as their face is obscured. This means that photos with the backs of heads, photos holding something in front of a face, or photos that are post-processed to blur faces may be used by blue marble learning scene.

By signing on behalf of a minor you indicate that you are you the legal guardian of that child and have the right to provide permissions to blue marble learning scene to use their photo or likeness in promotional materials.
