Turtle Trials
in Partnership with Turtles Kingston
Go on an adventure through a turtle's life cycle and all the trials they face! In this guided adventure, you will face a series of obstacles just like Ontario turtles.
Details
blue marble learning scene is excited to partner with Turtles Kingston to help facilitate a turtle trials program.
In this activity learners will begin as an egg and move through hatching, searching for water, surviving predators and roads before laying your own eggs. In addition to fun activities you will also learn how to be a Turtle Warrior by helping turtles safely cross the road and protecting their nests!
This activity is perfect for all ages - especially Kindergarten to Grades 8 - takes ~ 60 min and can be facilitated inside or outside.
Available for those within 1.5 hours of Kingston, Ontario.
Please note, there are no live turtles for this activity. Turtles Kingston focuses on turtle conservation and keeping turtles in the wild. In fact, it is illegal to keep native turtles captive (such as for a pet).
Cost
Turtle Trials is $70 per group of up to 30 learners
$15 of each booking will go directly to Turtles Kingston to support their conservation efforts.
All payments are required by the day of the activity. If you choose to pay later you will receive an invoice for $70 per group via email.
