Farmyard Activities
We are excited to have partnered with Topsy Farms to help everyone 'connect with the land' through their 2022 farmyard activities - in partnership with RTO 9/South Eastern Ontario, as well as the Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries!
When you visit Topsy Farm be sure to check out the 7 different farmyard activities which include: a Nature Bingo (download it here), a photo hunt (download it here), a Bee-venture (available as a self-guided activity starting at the playground), a Nature Trail Guide with interesting places marked (download it here), a Plant Explorer kit (available at the wool shed while supplies last), and a Winter Nature Exploration to help you enjoy Winter (download it here).
Farm visits are free, fun, and informational! Topsy even has a 2 km walking trail at the farm that goes to an old sugar shack (they ask for a donation of $5/person to help maintain the trail).

We are also happy to offer in-person visits for classes in partnership with Topsy.
Investigate science, nature, and farming with a fun, hands-on 2.5 hour visit. $175 per bus.
Bring your class for experiential learning to explore nature at Topsy Farms. blue marble will guide you in explorations of geology, soils, biodiversity, or trees on the farm. Plus, learn all about bee keeping and sheep farming activities that happen at Topsy!
